The best part about being a kid is that all you need to play basketball in Madison Square Garden is a mostly deflated balloon left over from your birthday party, some laundry baskets and a couple of bar stools. I walked into the kitchen over the weekend to discover Will playing basketball with these exact accessories. It made me smile, thinking back to when I was a kid. Though he couldn't quite dunk, he was money from downtown!

We find in the Smith house that laundry baskets are the next best selling toy around. We have used them for hockey nets, basketball hoops, stuffing your brother inside one if he makes you mad, a cage for the cat who is acting like a tiger at the zoo, and basically anything that doesn't involve throwing your dirty clothes into.
