We took a day trip up to the old family cabin. It has now been in the family for over 80 years. It had been at least 15 years since I had been up there and the old girl looks even better than I remember. We did some hiking and threw rocks in the creek. Grandma Diane made us a meal of spaghetti and meatballs over the campfire. We were privileged to have Great Grandpa Larry along for the ride as well. The kids got to see some wildlife like antelope and deer, even a golden Eagle that greeted us as we approached the cabin. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.
